Carmel-by-the-Sea

It is extremely difficult to describe Carmel-by-the-Sea, California… let alone the restaurants there. Starting with the salty and fresh air the wafts in from over the Pacific, to the sights and sounds of a thriving coastal town, to the multiple iterations of shops one might want to visit, to… oh, yes, the incredible number of eateries that can be found there – in town, as well as in the surrounding environs.

There is quite literally something for every possible taste bud! No matter the location on the planet, imagine, if you will, a type of cuisine from there. You will likely find it in Carmel. Breakfast, lunch, dinner – and everything in-between – if you can imagine it, you can find it in Carmel. Seafood (an incredible selection), steaks, chops, burgers, handhelds, soups, and add infinitum. Don’t take my word for it – visit Carmel and see for yourself. Better yet, read a review or two of mine. That should convince you…

In my career are twenty-five-plus years learning the restaurant business – from top to bottom – and six years in a Midwest university learning and polishing my writing skills. I have spent a good number of those years (just how many yet to be determined) on the road and authored well over 150 reviews & articles – and still counting.

I’ve traveled from Maine to Florida, from Boston to San Francisco,  from Seattle to San Diego, and from Dallas to way north of Duluth, sampling and writing about food. And Yes, I love restaurants, I love preparing, writing about, and eating, food. I hope you enjoy reading what I have written!
